Messing about in a Boat!

I spent some time with David on his boat today. More of a ‘winter-prep’ session than a proper trip-down-the-river – but great fun anyway even though the man event was emptying the on-board chemical toilet!!!! The weather was unbelievable warm for (almost) November!!

Afterwards, we had lunch at the Marina – a first visit for me, so i wasn’t sure what to expect; but it turned out better than I imagined! We even managed to sit outside to take in the stunning view!

And then it was home just in time for the weather turn grey and much colder!

I got into blogging quite late in life, not publishing my first post until 2004 – well into my 40s! My lifelong love of technology and communication (in all its forms), together with a fondness for the art of writing seemed to be the perfect combination to contribute a few words to the online community.
