Supper with Paul and Sue

It seems today has been all about eating, drinking and catching-up with friends – and tonight was no exception. We drove to see Paul and Sue at their Farm where they’d offered to do all the cooking! Perfect!!! 🙂

Paul’s a bit of a dark horse with cooking. He doesn’t do it that often for us, but when he does – it’s great! Tonight’s theme was Italian, and the spread was simply fantastic.

We finished off the evening, by subjecting them to our wedding photographs (we couldn’t believe they hadn’t seen them!) and then Ann ran out of steam really quickly, so we said our goodbyes and headed home.

We’ve agreed to meet up in the new year and try out the new Turkish restaurant on the corner of the high street.

I got into blogging quite late in life, not publishing my first post until 2004 – well into my 40s!
