We were knackered! Although we didn’t get up until about 8ish, last night’s events meant we only got around seven hours’ sleep – it should have been enough…it obviously wasn’t! 🙂
We headed for breakfast and fortunately it was less busy than yesterday so we were seated quickly. After chasing tea and coffee – twice – we ate lightly and headed back to the room to pack. We’ve got that down to a fine art and we were soon checking out and heading for West India Quay DLR.
We got to St Pancras international at around 10.30 and settled in at Le Pain Quotidien – I couldn’t resist having one of their desserts – Ann almost resisted mine!!!!
Our train reservation was for the 12 noon to Kettering so there was just time for Ann to mooch round the shops and for me to blog-away.
If the train is on time, we should be home by 1.15.
What a fantastic weekend – we love London!!!
I got into blogging quite late in life, not publishing my first post until 2004 – well into my 40s! My lifelong love of technology and communication (in all its forms), together with a fondness for the art of writing seemed to be the perfect combination to contribute a few words to the online community. But I’m no Samuel Pepys! If you’re looking for deep and meaningful comments on a variety of subjects, then you’ve arrived at the wrong site! I only pen for pleasure! On average, my posts appear about twice per month, covering family & friends, cinema visits, eating out, holiday experiences and techy stuff. Oh, and as this is my hobby, there are no sponsored links nor adverts here – it’s all done with love!
I hope you find it enjoyable, interesting and occasionally, even helpful!
