Ralph and Karen’s for Lunch

We drove up to Matlock today to join Ralph and Karen for lunch. On the way to lunch, we visited the Leawood Pumphouse between Cromford and Lea – and it was one the few days it was actually operational – super stuff especially as it’s maintained and staffed by volunteers.

We tried The Bear in Alderwasley for lunch and it was nothing short of superb!!! Good food at great prices.

Because Ralph and Karen are down to one car at the moment, we brought Ralph back with us and he’s here until Wednesday, working on the Wet-Room. We got back about 6pm.

I got into blogging quite late in life, not publishing my first post until 2004 – well into my 40s! My lifelong love of technology and communication (in all its forms), together with a fondness for the art of writing seemed to be the perfect combination to contribute a few words to the online community.
