We had a lay-in until 8.15!
The ‘full-English’ breakfast went down a treat setting us up for day’s shopping! Mooched around Bath town and had a really productive day. Ann bought a lovely blue topaz ring and I managed to get my two aerial connectors for the radio aerial at home and a mid-length Barbour jacket. Karen fell behind and didn’t manage to buy anything!
Weather-wise, the day got a lot warmer and by 12 there was a beautiful cloud-free blue sky.
We booked a table for 7.30 at ‘The Eastern Eye’, the well-known Indian Restaurant in Quiet St. Looking forward to it already, Yum Yum…
The next time we looked at our watches it was 2.30, so we went to the Pump Rooms for afternoon tea.
Then back to our room to change and a short rest.
Then we took the taxi to the Indian. Excellent food and a very busy restaurant too! We left the restaurant about 9.45 planning to have a nightcap back at the hotel, but when we got back, the whole place was very quiet and deserted!
So, we’re off to bed just after 10.

I got into blogging quite late in life, not publishing my first post until 2004 – well into my 40s! My lifelong love of technology and communication (in all its forms), together with a fondness for the art of writing seemed to be the perfect combination to contribute a few words to the online community. But I’m no Samuel Pepys! If you’re looking for deep and meaningful comments on a variety of subjects, then you’ve arrived at the wrong site! I only pen for pleasure! On average, my posts appear about twice per month, covering family & friends, cinema visits, eating out, holiday experiences and techy stuff. Oh, and as this is my hobby, there are no sponsored links nor adverts here – it’s all done with love!
I hope you find it enjoyable, interesting and occasionally, even helpful!
