Nicki arrived last night and slept over. After a lazy morning, the theme continued with a welcome return to the Olde Victoria – and a lazy lunch! 😁
We haven’t been here since February, and it was good to be back enjoying the excellent service and yummy menu – you just can’t go wrong here! 👍👍

After our meal, it seemed appropriate to go home and take a nap take our daily walk, so we trotted around Burton Latimer, showing Nicki some of the sights.
The ‘sights’ became somewhat limited when the heavens opened, and it poured with rain! We’d only covered just over half-a-mile when we performed a swift ‘180’ and headed back to the car!
I got into blogging quite late in life, not publishing my first post until 2004 – well into my 40s! My lifelong love of technology and communication (in all its forms), together with a fondness for the art of writing seemed to be the perfect combination to contribute a few words to the online community. On average, my posts appear about twice per month, covering family & friends, cinema visits, eating out, holiday experiences and techy stuff.
