Best at Breakfast Award Winner: Ann Runner-up: The Cunard Cumberland Sausage (I’m now looking for the First Aider in Dubai, as Ann’s not impressed that she’s in competition with a sausage!)
The Smoothness Award Winner: Cunard for getting us on and off the Ship without any drama Runner-up: Cunard for most everything else
The Longest Queue in the Name of Bureaucracy Award Winner: The four Indian Officials allocated to process over 2000 on-board applications to go ashore (even though we’d already got Visas)
The Karl Marx Room Award The Laundrette (for not having any left-handed ironing boards)
The Shouldn’t-Be-Allowed-To-Call-It-A-Smoothie Award Winner: The Cunard ‘Post Workout’ Smoothie (yes, really!) (Oats, Dates, Chia Seeds, Peanut Butter, Cinnamon, Vanilla and Almond Milk)
I got into blogging quite late in life, not publishing my first post until 2004 – well into my 40s! My lifelong love of technology and communication (in all its forms), together with a fondness for the art of writing seemed to be the perfect combination to contribute a few words to the online community. But I’m no Samuel Pepys! If you’re looking for deep and meaningful comments on a variety of subjects, then you’ve arrived at the wrong site! I only pen for pleasure! On average, my posts appear about twice per month, covering family & friends, cinema visits, eating out, holiday experiences and techy stuff. Oh, and as this is my hobby, there are no sponsored links nor adverts here – it’s all done with love!
