We drove over to Babe Blooz in Market Harborough tonight to meet up with Ian and Mags. It was all part of our normal three-monthly catch-up where we’ve been a few times before – but not since June 2011! It’s amazing how the years have flown by!
The memorable thing about the restaurant the last time we were here, was it’s very loud colour scheme – but this had all now been toned-down. Fortunately, the menu hadn’t been altered too much and there was plenty of choice. To keep it simple, we settled for the set menu for four and we weren’t disappointed, as the food was as good as I remember it. It was well presented too. Yummy, Yummy!
By the time we left at just after 9.15, the place was empty which in a way, was a shame, as it deserved to be busier – but perhaps it makes up for it at the weekends as many of these types of restaurants do.
We said our goodbyes and agreed to meet in August over towards Stratford.
I got into blogging quite late in life, not publishing my first post until 2004 – well into my 40s! My lifelong love of technology and communication (in all its forms), together with a fondness for the art of writing seemed to be the perfect combination to contribute a few words to the online community. But I’m no Samuel Pepys! If you’re looking for deep and meaningful comments on a variety of subjects, then you’ve arrived at the wrong site! I only pen for pleasure! On average, my posts appear about twice per month, covering family & friends, cinema visits, eating out, holiday experiences and techy stuff. Oh, and as this is my hobby, there are no sponsored links nor adverts here – it’s all done with love!
I hope you find it enjoyable, interesting and occasionally, even helpful!
