So, it was over to Stratford-upon-Avon this evening, for a catch-up with Ian and Mags. We were slightly off-schedule as were due to meet back in May, but had to cancel.
What a find Il Moro was! (thanks Ian!!!), a perfectly positioned Italian Restaurant (away from the main buzz of of Stratford’s town centre, in Greenhill Street), small in size (20 covers?), a great atmosphere plus really friendly staff too!
Oh, and my choice from the a la carte menu was DELICIOUS. The waistline hinted that I should skip the Starters (which I did – smug bugger!), leaving me to tuck into my Mains and Dessert with some enthusiasm – Duck and Chilli Taglitelle followed by Raspberry Panna cotta.
In between the taste-buds workout, we managed to right the world and set a date for our next get-together!
All-in-all, a perfect evening then! Next get-together: Saxon Mill in October.

I got into blogging quite late in life, not publishing my first post until 2004 – well into my 40s!
My lifelong love of technology and communication (in all its forms), together with a fondness for the art of writing seemed to be the perfect combination to contribute a few words to the online community.
But I’m no Samuel Pepys! If you’re looking for deep and meaningful comments on a variety of subjects, then you’ve arrived at the wrong site! I only pen for pleasure!
On average, my posts appear about twice per month, covering family & friends, cinema visits, eating out, holiday experiences and techy stuff. Oh, and as this is my hobby, there’s no sponsored links nor adverts here – it’s all done with love!
I hope you find it enjoyable, interesting and occasionally, even helpful!
