That’s unusual, Ann is away tonight (in Leicester helping to run a careers event – how ironic!!!)
So, that gave me chance to fix her PC that had overheated last week. To make matters worse, on my initial attempt to fix it and whilst trying to clean the fan assembly near the processor, I managed to break the plastic harness that keeps it all secured to the motherboard! – one seriously knackered PC then – now it was my turn to overheat!!
Thank heavens for ebay then! I managed to get hold of all the bits I needed (with Neil’s help) at very little money. It all turned up today and the repair operation went like a dream. Phew!
I got into blogging quite late in life, not publishing my first post until 2004 – well into my 40s! My lifelong love of technology and communication (in all its forms), together with a fondness for the art of writing seemed to be the perfect combination to contribute a few words to the online community. But I’m no Samuel Pepys! If you’re looking for deep and meaningful comments on a variety of subjects, then you’ve arrived at the wrong site! I only pen for pleasure! On average, my posts appear about twice per month, covering family & friends, cinema visits, eating out, holiday experiences and techy stuff.
