The booking agent we’re using for our next big holiday rang today to inform us that because of low numbers, they were cancelling the trip!
Ann jumped on the Internet and did some googling and managed to find an almost identical holiday travelling out a day later. It was a bit more expensive, but at this time, we’re waiting for the travel company to ring us and tell us if they’ll price-match.
The travel company would only offer us 2% off the price – and that made it too expensive. So, it’s back to ‘square-one’.
I got into blogging quite late in life, not publishing my first post until 2004 – well into my 40s! My lifelong love of technology and communication (in all its forms), together with a fondness for the art of writing seemed to be the perfect combination to contribute a few words to the online community.
