It’s Jo’s birthday today! We went to The Old Bakehouse in Rothwell for our table at 7.15pm. I think this is the third or fourth time we’ve been there. Service was excellent (as normal) – and so was the food!
We got through two bottles of red wine plus a bottle of sparkling water – and I had a beer.
I had the meatballs for starters and chicken souvlaki for the main course. No-one else could manage a dessert, except me, I had the warm apple and toffee tart with ice-cream
We got back about 9.30pm

I got into blogging quite late in life, not publishing my first post until 2004 – well into my 40s! My lifelong love of technology and communication (in all its forms), together with a fondness for the art of writing seemed to be the perfect combination to contribute a few words to the online community. On average, my posts appear about twice per month, covering family & friends, cinema visits, eating out, holiday experiences and techy stuff.
