Doctor Who – Series 4, Episode 2

I really enjoyed this episode. A good solid script, fine acting and a chance for Catherine Tate to show that she’s a great actress.

The CGI effects were outstanding and the pace of the story kept me on the edge of my seat. Some sad moments too – namely the Doctor declaring that he can see the fixed points in time that cannot be changed (the destruction of Pompeii) and Donna pleading with the Doctor to save some of the poor souls of Pompeii.
