Our new super-duper bread-making machine arrived on Friday, but I didn’t get a chance to work out how to use it until today.

Made by Panasonic, it seems to do everything and will make an extra large loaf too! It’s even got a separate chamber for adding fruit, nuts etc that get added automatically.

Tried making a fruit loaf overnight – I guess it helps to read the instructions properly as although it tasted brilliant, it was aboiut half the intended size as we’d only added enough water for a SMALL loaf.

I got into blogging quite late in life, not publishing my first post until 2004 – well into my 40s! My lifelong love of technology and communication (in all its forms), together with a fondness for the art of writing seemed to be the perfect combination to contribute a few words to the online community. But I’m no Samuel Pepys! If you’re looking for deep and meaningful comments on a variety of subjects, then you’ve arrived at the wrong site! I only pen for pleasure!
