A Decisive Day

Reading time: < 1 minute...

The day started with a quick trip to [ssshhhh!] to start the ball rolling for Ann’s surprise 50th Birthday celebration next year.

Then it was off a local Letting Agent in Kettering with Lee to attempt to avert a domestic disaster! It would appear that the previous tenant had been a bit naughty, fallen behind with her mortgage payments and NOT given the mortgage lender the details of her new address. The result? Lots of threatening letters and loud knocks on Lee’s front-door at various intervals, threatening to chuck her out.

Fortunately, the manager at the Letting Agent, showed a sympathetic ear (It would seem that he hadn’t been kept up-to-speed on how things were escalating in spite of Lee passing all the correspondence to their office on regular occasions!) He promised to sort things out and  Lee was able to sign another year’s contact for her place. The result of which has made her very much more relaxed than she’d been of late.

Then, Lee and I drove over to Corby to pick-up her sewing-machine that had been in intensive care for the past week. The patient is now fully recovered and firing on all four bobbins!

Finally, it was back to Lee’s to carry out some maintenance on her PC.

What an interesting life I lead ehh?
Open-mouthed smile
